Home Makeover

Many of you know that many of our own home improvement projects get pushed aside for Trevor's "paying" jobs.

Well, that changed this past month.

My bedroom got a fabulous makeover. I know these pictures won't do it justice, so feel free to come visit us to see them up close and personal.

For the past 4 1/2 years our bedroom has been pink. It wasn't meant to be that way, but it was. The pink is gone. We now have a bright room with brown accents. We also got a new ceiling fan which is beautiful! No more brass.

 Before, the top was pink, the bottom was maroon. The ceiling was also pink. It is now white!

Stage 2: FLOORS

And now I am getting a new floor! No more carpet!!! I am thrilled!!! I really  hate carpet. All that stuff on the floor are feathers from our down comforter. That is getting the boot too. We bought new bedding last month and finally we can put it out on our bed. Well, as soon as the floors are complete.
You can actually see the colors better in this picture and check out my pretty new ceiling fan!!!

Step 1: Remove all the furniture

 In this picture you can see the change in the wall with the window. It went from maroon to the light color.

Step 5: The FLOOR!!!! Isn't it beautiful? We have had this floor for over a year. Its just been sitting waiting. Now, finally it is free from those boxes and breathing so happily in my bedroom!

Step 6: NEW BEDDING

We finished it off by adding our new bedding. We bought this in January. Finally we get to use it!

And now, the changes continue. Trevor is repainting our downstairs. STAY TUNED!!!
