An August Update

Back to work, back to being busy!
So, its time for an update.

The week before school Hollister had another ear surgery.
This one was different. It was on both ears and the doctor went through his ear canals this time.

The surgery only lasted about an hour and on the right ear it was successful.
The left was not as clean, but he still did well.
All is good with his ears at the moment.
We will see the doctor in a month for another evaluation.

The night before he and I enjoyed dinner at Fuddruckers
Doesn't happen often that I get him all to myself.

The next day before his surgery.

And as always, his buddy Todd was right by his side the whole time.

Then, just six days later it was time to start school.

Being at the middle school now, I start later and was able to walk the boys to their classes on the first day of school.

Hamilton with Ms. Tieman

We are in our second week and things are going really well!

New Mexico Part 2

The boys also had some fun with Papa. They never tire of wrestling.

They also had plenty of time to play with Brooklyn, their youngest cousin,
I wish I had gotten better pictures of them together, she is freaking adorable!!

And they loved playing with the dogs as well!

Our last full day, we spent some time just the three of us while everyone went to work.

Hollister has been wanting to go to Dave and Buster's,
so we headed out to have lunch and some game fun.
Thanks Papa!

We enjoyed the IMax so much from a few days before, that we went back, toured the museum and watched the dinosaur movie.

Having some fun with the exhibits!

They do have large feet, but not the largest!

Nope, he wasn't hatched, but he'd make a cute dinosaur!

The Albuquerque Children's Museum is across the street from the other museum, we had time to kill,
so we went in to explore.

Lots of bubble fun!

 Circuits

Lots of music fun!

Don't worry, we will not be forming a family band and touring the country.

Hollister spent almost a solid hour building this and making it work.
I was impressed with his endurance, but also his ingenuity for creating it!

I hope that you are able to view his video. What he made is truly amazing!
