Dirt Bikes and Go Cart Fun

Last night Uncle Josh and Aunt Nikki came over for burgers. Uncle Josh also brought his dirt bike. We have a field close to our house, so a perfect place to ride it.

I had to remind my hubby he is not as young as he used to be.....
The boys LOVED getting the go cart out and taking it for a spin, its been far too long. Later in the evening it turned in to block party with several neighbors and Trevor gave all the kids a ride. He was a big hit!

Name Change

So, I have to change my blog name. Instead of 4 blues, we will have 5 blues and 1 pink!

We had our ultrasound today and IT'S A BOY!I realized I haven't taken any belly shots yet.

We are thrilled. I am happy to get the room ready for the younger boys now and not worry about combining boy and girl stuff....

I am thrilled that we have tons of "boy stuff" already.

I am excited that Hollister will have a brother close to his age.Hollister wanted to take a picture of his belly too. We talked him into kissing my belly instead. SOOO CUTE!

I am even more excited that the baby is healthy and growing rapidly and everything looks good.

I have my pink laundry room and I'm holding out for granddaughters! LOL

Sprinkler Park

Today we met friends at the sprinkler park in Cedar Park. It is free and F-U-N! Its always busy, but everyone is nice. The kids bring toys and balls and just play with everything that is around and splash in the water.
This was the funnest part. Throw the ball in the water and watch it spring to the top. Not a good picture of it, but this kept the kids preoccupied for a long time! All the kids, not just ours!

There were 6 "little" kids and CJ. He was quite the hit with some of the kids. He liked them just as much. He really had a good time. Cameron and KayleeJackson and Garrison
Garrison, Jackson, CJ, Hollister.... where's Chance and Kaylee?

I wish I had more photos, but since I was there to see my friends, there was more talking than picture taking! Are you shocked?

Afterward some of us went to Mc Donald's for lunch and an indoor play place. They LOVED it. This picture is super sweet. CJ was very helpful so they all could see the game. He's got some new friends now!
Hollister and Chance drinking chocolate milk. Chance is only 3 months older than Hollister. He makes him look so small.

What a fun day!

More AMAZING Photos

I got the complete CD from my friend of the photo shoot she did of the boys at the end of May. They are AMAZING!!!
I am tempted to put them all on here, but can't do that. You would love them, trust me, but I know not everyone is obsessed with my kids like I am.

We like them so much, we already are lining up a maternity and a newborn shoot! I am just amazed that she could capture each of them so well.

Be sure to check out her website too. She does have some great shots of other families, not as cute of course, but great photos. (just kidding!!!)

This is exactly how they are ALL THE TIME!!!

Beautiful Boy

So handsome

Growing into such a man

CUUUUTE!

I just love the "effect" of this picture!

Meet Laurel & Hardy... for the younger generation, David & Goliath or Skipper & Gilligan.... They all fit!

Biker Rally Fun

Yesterday we headed downtown for the ROT Biker Rally. ROT stands for Rally of Texas. It is the biggest biker rally in Texas and second only to Sturgis in South Dakota. Over 200,000 bikes are expected!
A zillion, okay, maybe not a zillion, but a lot of people were expected last night downtown for the festivities, which included a jump from Robbie Knievel.

I am unable to ride this year, doctors orders, so, we booked a room and took our kids to the parade. It was insane, loud and crowded.

After they went back to the hotel to watch a movie, we headed out for some adult fun. We were interested in the jump, weren't willing to pay though. We ended up in a great spot, plus they had huge TVs, but it was probably the scariest place I have ever been. We were in the crowd of 200,000+ people and there was a lot of pushing. It felt very unsafe at times. We pulled the pregnancy card and were taken to a different place to watch the jump. It wasn't as great a view, but man, did I feel safer and not as hot.

For what ever reason, I didn't take my camera out of my purse. So, the photos I have are from the internet.

It was a nice adventure, and one we will do again. It's a tradition after 4 years for us! I have to say though, its nice to be here in my "quiet" house away from the people and the bikes.

Hollister Todd Hodges Boots, Rides again!

This time, he is actually wearing them though!

Go here to see Hollister say his name. He is holding the "Boots"character card from Shrek and keeps adding "Boots" to the end of his name. It is quite funny. Just a side note, he has since dropped the "Boots" from his name. But, now with a new love for real "boots" he may add it again.

A little background here.....
a few weeks back, a co-worker gave me a TON of Disney DVDs. Ones that we had in VHS, but not DVD. Hollister thought it was Christmas! His favorites are Toy Story and Toy Story 2. He LOVES Buzz Lightyear because well, he's a space man and my boy loves space and rocket ships thanks to Mickey Mouse.
He also LOVES Woody, because of his BOOTS!

For the last few days all he talks about are buying boots like Woody. It's summer people, no way am I buying cowboy boots for a 3 year old whose foot is growing non stop!

Well, today..... we went to Target. I was there to buy flip flops on sale. Hollister was there to buy "boots" and nothing else.

We saw "Lightning McQueen" rain boots and he was thrilled. They only had a large but he didn't care. He wore them around the store in the basket. He kept saying. "mom these are heavy" I made him "walk" around in them and I was able to convince him to look for some smaller boots. We found some that actually fit, but no Lightning McQueen. Instead they are dinosaurs, with horns, eyes and "spikes" on the back. They are super cute and though he still says they are "heavy", they remain on his feet!

He wore them, with his shorts, to Home Depot to see his Daddy and brother. Then to lunch. the boots were a hit with all the ladies!

This is him showing them off to his Dad at Home Depot.

This is him in his room, Toy Story is on the TV and the blue bat on the floor, that would be his "horse" of choice at the moment.

And for the record, I did get some super cute flip flops on sale! Two pair as a matter of fact, but let's keep that between us please.

Last Choir Concert and first summer park trip

Getting ready to sing. CJ is front row, far left.

CJ had his last choir concert Monday night. It was all contemporary songs and dancing. It was very entertaining. I have 3 videos, but I will only humor you with one. Every song had dance movements. CJ didn't know any of them and its obvious as he looks at everyone else for clues. He also doesn't have any rhythm, which is also obvious, but very fun to watch. You will hear my giggles, I just couldn't hold it in. He tells me he's the best 6th grade singer though, so that makes up for the other stuff. Okay CJ, whatever you say. Sorry that the video isn't better. I should have sat closer. But, you will get the point. Plus, notice there are 14 boys. This is ALL THE BOYS in middle school AND high school in Elgin ISD choir, 6th-11th grade. There are no seniors.
He is on the front row, far left. ENJOY!

Today is the first day of our summer vacation. It's just Hollister and I right now. So we took a morning trip to the park before it got too hot. He loved it of course. He had his "dink" (drink) and his snacks. We got to see the ducks, turtles and go down the slides.

His "dink" and Talking about the ducks

Slide Time! WHEEEE!

A nice relaxing day to begin our time together. Now, nap time! Mommy's favorite! I bet I fall asleep before he does!
