Halloween Party

Bumble Bee, the "big version"Bumble Bee the small version!yep, that is Thor!!! CJ got in on the action as well. This is Kendrick's girlfriend, Snow White or Kaitlyn for short....

The gang:

Hollister: Bumblebee Transformer, Elysea: Batgirl Josh: Luigi, Jackson: SWAT,

Jack: Optimus Transformer

Pumpkin bowling! The "ghosts" were toilet paper rolls. This was actually a GREAT game and the kids LOVED IT!!!!

Decorating "pumpkins" yes, those are oranges... Texas oranges apparently because they are not orange, we are blaming the drought. But the kids loved drawing on them! And yes, I gave small children permanent markers!

BINGO!!!!
We had a great time and were all tuckered out, like always!

A real good good catch

I know I have so much to write about, and I will, I feel so behind. I haven't written much about baseball this season. Fall ball is very relaxed. There are only 7 games and two of those have been rained out. We were able to make one of those up which was nice.

Anyway, the idea of fall ball to get practice at different postions and try new things. In the past Trevor has not been able to get Hollister to try catcher, but now, HE LOVES IT!!!! How cute is he? He loves hitting too and he is such a fast runner.

What Saturdays are all about!

Early morning soccer.... Good sportsmanship....

HOGEYE FESTIVAL!!!!

It's Elgin's annual Hogeye Festival and man, do we love it. It's a small festival and carnival down town and its all about the pig!

A highlight of the day, riding the school bus shuttle!

The boys with our neighbor Jack.

Mom's favorite highlight, the biggest pig in Texas!!!!
We have never ventured to the carnival portion, but today Hollister was allowed to ride one ride with his buddy Jack.

You probably know Elgin is the sausage capital of Texas, but it's also the largest maker of bricks. We have 3 brick making companies in town. So it makes sense to have a brick throwing game at Hogeye!

A pig toss, of course....
Bull riding....
A bounce house...
Playing on a fire truck...A cake walk. No, he didn't win, but he liked it.
Hamilton won a toy as well.

Sno cones!

Live music and even dancers if you look closely.
My boys loved it and were dancing fools themselves.
Okay, so its not all about the pig, we allow bats as well....

And FRIED foods... and yes, Hamilton is napping behind them. Hogeye is exhausting!
And the shuttle ride back to our car, still happy! I think it was a fun day for them all.

Later that night, it was date night, double date night actually. We went with another couple to a Haunted House. Scary, really scary, but very fun! This was the entrance to the second haunted house. yes, 2!!!! These are the kinds of characters that were in the parking lot messing with us before entering.
Kind of nice to have some adult time! Even if it involves stuff like this.

Seriously playing catch up...

I started this post over a week ago, seriously, I need more TIME!!!

So here is a quick "hodge-podge" of what went on late September.

Anyway... soccer is in full swing. Hollister is having a GREAT season and has improved soooo much! He is agressive and goes after that ball!

He fell and kept going after the ball!!

Kendrick turned 20!!! Wow! Having a child turn 20 can really make you feel old. Good thing he's still a kid at heart and wanted a Transformers cake!
This is Optimus Prime...I truly dislike Play Dough. It is messy and it gets EVERYWHERE! But, of course my children love it! Here's the boys playing together and not fighting!

A playdough hamburger masterpiece!
