Fall Soccer

Saturday was a soccer tournament. Each team was guaranteed two games. All kids got an end of the season trophy. If you won both you were guaranteed a medal. Our first game was great, started slow, but we won. Hollister had 4 goals!Look past #4, Hollister is doing a throw in.I can't seem to snap a goal shot, but I snapped this by luck. The did a kick off after a goal and poor Hollister got nailed! It wasn't funny at the time, but one day it will be something to look back on. He was tough and kept going, then went with Daddy and cried just a little bit. Second game.... tough game.... this team had beaten us pretty badly during the regular season. Hollister scored 2 goals, but unfortunately we lost. He was very sad. this meant no medal. We were so proud of him though. He became such a leader on his team and worked so hard. And, he really enjoyed soccer this year. After the first game. We had a lot of down time before the season ending trophy ceremony. Hollister got a "picnic" together with many on his team and Hamilton invited himself.

The team with their trophies.
The high scorer this season! 20 goals for the season!

WAY TO GO HOLLISTER! Hollister has had a great season. We have decided to move him up to U8 next season. We know he will be more challenged there. We are also considering indoor soccer, but until his ear surgery is complete, we have to wait. Of course, more on that later this week.
