(By the time I actually post this, it will be a week later than I began... sorry)

We have head an eventful few weeks, but it seems like there is no time to share it. Plus, my computer crashed and we haven't replaced it yet. So, let me catch you up...

Trevor had a birthday last week. We had a nice quiet celebration this year with the boys. Check out his new "kitchenware". With all the cakes he is baking, he really needed a manly apron. Hollister doesn't like him in it. Its pretty funny. I think he is thinking its a dress. (HA!)

On his actual birthday, we took him to The Cheesecake Factory for a yummy treat but,

of course, he made his own cake and we also got some yummy cupcakes too! He is experimenting, we love being his guinea pigs.

We also had SNOW! yes, snow in Texas. It didn't last long, but enough that we bundled up the boys and they enjoyed it. We had a snow day from school!

Since we don't normally have weather like this, we are not prepared in the clothing department. Check out the make shift winter wear.

You can't tell, but his gloves don't even match!

One is Spiderman, one is Batman.

HA! A hand-me-down coat from his big brother.
He absolutely LOVED it and it was perfect for the 10 minutes we stayed out.

Gonna throw a snowball at someone...

DADDY!
He won't make it easy though...

Hamilton trying to chase them, but I think his coat is slowing him down.

This is what he looked like after he fell down in the snow.

Check out his legs. But, also, check out that smile... And... many of you I am having concerns about Hollister's readiness for Kindergarten in August. We also had a bad experience at his 5 year old check up, which I think I never posted about. Both Trevor and I were very disappointed in how we were spoken to about Hollister and his progress and readiness from someone who doesn't even know him. For me, it was quite an ordeal and I panicked at first. But as I have settled down and thought through some stuff, I know he is fine and will be ready for Kindergarten.

Well, last week he helped me feel a little more at ease too.
Check out his writing!!! He did it all by himself and was beaming when he showed us. He even got to go to the prize box at day care because he had done so well!

Yes, I have figured out that I have to do some readiness activities with him,
but that's actually just called parenting in my opinion!
