Playing dress up

This past week was not only Halloween, it was Red Ribbon Week at school. This is a week where schools celebrate being drug free.

We have days like crazy sock day, hat day, pajama day, etc...

Hollister's school used Halloween to incorporate Science Vocabulary.

Each grade level was given a vocabulary list and we had to choose a word and create a costume for that word. Yep, you guessed it, a project for parents!

And Hollister's Daddy did not disappoint.

Note: while typing about this, it was brought to my attention that cumulus is misspelled. We checked the sheet provided by the school and yep, misspelled. What a bummer! Hollister loves his shirt, but its wrong. Of course, he doesn't realize it, but we know. Trevor may be making a new one.

This is Hollister being silly!

Hamilton was able to dress up. We let him wear an old costume to day care. And of course, he had to be silly too.

Later that night, we trick or treated in our neighborhood with our good buddy Jack. Jack was a scary character this year.

Hollister is really into Skylanders which  is a video game. This is a character from that game.
Hamilton was Wolverine.

Cooper, Jack's two year old brother went too, but he was scared of Hollister and wouldn't take a picture with us.  He was Thomas the Train. Guess you have to take my word for it, he was a cutie.

Of course, the boys had a good time and loaded up the candy!
